Phonics Phase 2

This course will be exploring what phonics is, key terminology used when planning and teaching as well as how to plan, teach and assess a session when introducing phase 2 sounds.

Description

We will also look at the teaching of tricky words and high frequency words. And finally assessing children’s ability to identify and represent graphemes and then blend those graphemes to read simple words.
