Introduction to Funding

The purpose of this course is to help Providers understand in more detail the Department for Education’s (DfE) expectations about how the free entitlements for two-, three- and four-year-olds should be delivered. We will cover: 15 hour entitlement for the most disadvantaged two-year- olds: 15 hour entitlement for parents of three- and four- year-olds (the universalentitlement); and 30 hour entitlement for working parents of three- and four-year-olds (the extended entitlement).
