Designated Safeguarding Lead

We have now launched DSL training as part of our Safeguarding Training Range - 3 Hours - Live & interactive Training, CPD Accredited and Certified 

Course Content: 

• Understand the roles and responsibilities of the DSL
• Identify the different forms of child abuse and its impact on children
• Understand how to respond to a child who has reported abuse 
• Describe barriers that may prevent staff or children from reporting concerns or abuse 
• Describe how to escalate concerns and referrals 
• Understand the multi-agency protection process 
• Understand the role of the setting in providing early support and statutory intervention

(Short break will happen during the course) 

This can also be delivered privately as a booking for your setting.
