Description

Our visit will give your team the confidence to showcase their practice and help to improve the quality of provision. 

During the visit, we collate evidence and produce an Early Years Improvement plan with verbal and written feedback.

The focus of the mock Ofsted inspection visit will be to audit the experiences of children and the management systems in place and to support them in adhering to compliance. 

 

This will include:

  • A visit from an independent adviser with strong experience in the nursery sector and the Ofsted inspection framework

  • Observe early years practice

  • Review key documentation

  • Carry out a joint observation (mock Ofsted inspection)

  • Advice for your staff team about what to expect from an inspection to increase their confidence

  • Feedback and advice to identify your strengths and areas for development

 

The preparing for inspection visit will support you to:

  • Evaluate your practice against the Early Years Inspection Handbook 2019 

  • Achieve the best possible inspection judgement by showcasing your practice and demonstrating continual quality improvement

  • Set action plans for areas of development with immediate feedback on the day and a full written report following the visit

  • Prepare your whole team for an inspection visit

  • Gain confidence in your ability to demonstrate your quality practice to an inspector

  • Improve quality practice and outcomes for children through self-reflective practice

 

 

We will provide you with honest feedback and an action plan to help you drive improvements in your setting. No grading judgment will be provided.

EYRS and our consultants cannot be held responsible for any outcomes or judgements from a future Ofsted inspection.

This package also includes free access for all staff to our training course ‘Prepare for Inspection including Quality of Education’ written and delivered by our Outstanding former Inspector Julie Firth. (Usually £38pp)
